Our Massage Therapy Program aims to prepare you with the clinical and administrative skills that are essential for success in the field of wellness, relaxation, and mindful lifestyles. You’ll acquire an in-depth understanding of the human body, learn about various bodywork modalities, and receive training in the latest Swedish massage theory and techniques.
Upon completion of the program, you will be equipped to plan and implement treatments for patients in medical and non-medical environments. Graduates will be able to obtain licensure and begin their careers as entry-level professionals in a range of settings, such as private practice, medical offices, chiropractic offices, physical therapy centers, wellness facilities, spas, and salons.
The students are taught a detailed understanding of the human body that allows them to communicate with other healthcare professionals and develop complete treatment programs for their clients. Graduates of the Houston massage therapy program are prepared for employment in private practice or positions with spas, salons, chiropractors, medical doctors, physical therapists, sports medicine, and wellness centers. This program exceeds the standards set by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation for licensing as a Massage Therapist.

In order to become licensed as a Massage Therapist in Texas, graduates must achieve a passing score in the Massage and Bodywork Licensing Examination (MBLEX) administered by the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards (FSMTB). This is required by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
